My name is Linda and I am a freelance professional, certified makeup artist specializing in bridal, special events, beauty and editorial make up in Banff, Canmore and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I also offer lessons, consultations, makeovers and on-location services.

 

Born and raised in a beautiful Northern European country, Latvia, I left home in 2001 and have been travelling ever since. I have lived and worked in Switzerland, the USA, the UAE, and the UK. Immigrated to Canada in 2007, and ran my business in the Rocky Mountains in early 2012. I can recreate pretty much any look you have in mind -from very minimalistic and natural, to elaborate fantasy makeup.

 

I am also a hospitality professional with a degree in event planning and management. with a great passion for art, and color in particular. A skincare enthusiast, as I believe that it all starts with perfect skin- which is my canvas. In the end, I believe true beauty exists within everyone, and that I am just helping women enhance it.

 

I have taken several courses in different countries I lived in, and have also studied in the school of arts - have artists background, and have acquired my Certificate in advanced makeup artistry from NIIMD. I constantly update my knowledge and skills through Masterclasses (MacPro etc.) and International acclaimed makeup shows such as IMATS.

 

In the end, I believe hard work, great knowledge and skills, attention to detail, and a personalized approach to every individual I work with will bring mutual satisfaction.
